The 2014 BAM AGM was held in San Cristobal hotel on 17th September. 23 Members attended the AGM. All 2013-4 BAM committee members resigned at the AGM. The new officers and spokespersons for 2014-5 elected are:

During AOB it was stated that transport costs for events remained an issue. Sincere thanks go to Gigi, who has offered money towards any transport costs that cannot be found from members.
The September BAM monthly lunch was held in the San Cristobel Restaurant immediately following the AGM. Many thanks go to Joan for handling and arranging the event for 14 members and to Violette for collecting the money.
Reminder, BAM yearly subscription for 2014-15 of €12 was due on 1st September, so if you have not yet paid please see Joan or Angret. Currently, only 28 members are bona fida.
Further BAM monthly lunches are being planned for 2014;
The October lunch is to be incorporated with a visit to ASPANDEM.
The November lunch will be held at the Da Bruno Sul Mare.
The December lunch will be the Christmas Special, yet to be arranged.
BAM arranged a trip to Malaga on 4th October for 10 members, which included visits to the English Cemetery, Glass Museum and the new port area. Members lunched in the area of Merced Plaza.
Reminder: The trip to ASPANDEM is being arranged by Fran for 30th October. More information and transport details will be supplied later. It is envisaged that the contribution for lunch, will not exceed €15. No detail on transport costs are known at this time. Contact Joan, 952835947, by 8th October if you want to attend the trip.
Many thanks are given to Eva, who has created and constantly updates a new website and Facebook entry for BAM. Any ideas for additional content would be appreciated.
