The January, BAM monthly lunch was held at the San Cristobal Restaurant, Many thanks go to Violette, Joan and Angret in making it a great success.
The next BAM monthly lunch will be at the Jaipur Restaurant on 27th February. The menu will contain meat and fish dishes. Please contact ASAP Violette, 952828988 or Joan, 952835947, at the latest by Monday morning 24th February to book as the number of places is limited. The cost for the lunch which includes the tip and a drink is €15.00. The lunch, as usual, will commence at 1.30pm for 2.00pm.
The BAM monthly lunches currently planned for 2014 are to take place at the following restaurants;
Thursday, February 27th Jaipur
Thursday, March 27th El Capitan
Thursday, April 24th Marbella Pensionista
Thursday, May 29th Puerto Azul
Thursday, June 26th Chinese t.b.a.
At the recent BAM committee meeting it was decided that as from Wednesday 26th February we will meet for coffee, etc., in the San Cristobal library/TV room at the usual start time of 11:00 am.
A BAM shopping/lunch trip, will take place in March, to the Aspandem Garden Centre. Please contact Fran, 952927807, if you are likely to attend and if you would require transport or could offer seats in your own vehicles to other BAM members.
On Saturday 26th April we are arranging a day trip to Antequera and El Torcal. Transport from central Marbella, in a mini bus, will cost €25 per person. Lunch is not included; however there are many inexpensive places for food in Antequera. Please act quickly as numbers are extremely limited. Call Violette, 952828988 or Joan, 952835947 immediately to indicate if you want to go. The full transport payment must be paid to secure your place.
Tim has written another play, entitled ‘Zip me up Darling’, to be performed at the Black Box theatre on Saturday evening, 15th March. If you want more details and want to book a seat call Violette, 952828988.
Action with regard to our Charity contributions and a potential trip to Sur in English’s publishing facility are ongoing.
