The December, Special Christmas time, BAM monthly lunch will be held on Thursday, December, 12th at the L'Angolino Restaurant, Avenida Ricardo Soriano 29, Marbella, 29601.

The Special Christmas time menu will provide a choice of meat and fish dishes. The meat dish will definitely be lamb and the fish offering will definitely be made from local fresh items.   The actual menu will be issued later and all confirmed diners will be asked to select their choices a few days prior to the event.

Please contact Violette, 952828988 or Joan, 952835947, at the earliest opportunity to tentatively book your place. The restaurant is very cosy with a limited seating of 24 places. Your place will only be guaranteed once full payment, €25, has been made. The cost for the 3 course lunch includes the tip and wine on the tables. Places confirmed will be on a first to pay basis. Payments will commence to be taken next Wednesday at the coffee morning session. The lunch, as usual, will commence at 1.30pm for 2.00pm.

The October BAM monthly lunch was held on Thursday, 31st October at the bodega El Duende. Many thanks go to Joan for handling and arranging another great event for 22 members and to Angret for collecting the money.

The November BAM monthly lunch will be held on Thursday, November, 28th at the Puerto Azul restaurant, C/ Camilo Jose Cela 3, Marbella. Please contact Violette, 952828988 or Joan, 952835947, at the latest by Monday, November, 25th, if you want to book your place for the lunch. The cost for the lunch, which includes the tip and one drink, will be €11. Note; those who do not pre-book are not guaranteed a place. The lunch, as usual, will commence at 1.30pm for 2.00pm.

As from now on, the coffee morning commencing at 11:00 on Wednesdays will revert back to the Marbella Pensionista in Calle de Juan Ramón Jiménez, Marbella. However, with the high noise level at this venue the committee is seeking another suitable location. Last week, the Pensionista was holding their own event and with the 15 BAM members it became difficult to communicate with one another.

Suggestions have been proposed but as yet a special Christmas event has not yet been agreed by the committee.

Only 2 members have shown interest in a trip to Antequera so no specific BAM event is to be arranged.

Any other ideas or direct help for outings or events would be welcomed at any time.
